Maurya is a cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Physical Therapy degrees. Her graduate level research was accepted for presentation at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting held in Washington, D.C.
Maurya has over sixteen years experience in treating patients with orthopedic, neurological and spine diagnoses. She has teamed up with area physicians to provide community education regarding neurological disorders such as Parkinson's Disease. Maurya continues to stay up to date with the latest advances in Physical Therapy with continuing education focusing on osteoporosis, muscle energy techniques, and kinesiology taping.
Maurya has completed numerous seminars with emphasis on vestibular dysfunction and concussion management. She is credentialed in concussion management through ImPact® Trained Physical Therapist program (ITPT).
