Donna Broomall-Cain, L.Ac.
Certified Acupuncturist
Donna is an acupuncturist licensed to
practice in Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. She is a
Diplomat of the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine. She has been a
member of the Healing Arts team since 2003. Donna believes that
vibrant health is the normal state of the body and that acupuncture can
help bring people suffering from pain, disease or dysfunction back to
that normal state. She has a Master's degree in Acupuncture from
the Tri State College of Acupuncture, a Master's in Business
Administration from the Wharton School, and a Bachelor's Degree in
Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.

Maria Ciuferri-Wansacz, L.Ac.
Certified Acupuncturist
Maria is a
nationally board certified acupuncturist and a naturopathic doctor.
She graduated from Wilkes University with a B.S. degree in biology in
1997. Following Wilkes, she attended Bastyr University in Seattle,
Washington to obtain her doctorate in naturopathic medicine. She then
went on to receive her degree in acupuncture from the Tri State College
of Acupuncture located in Manhattan. Maria incorporates her
naturopathic knowledge into her acupuncture treatments by discussing
nutritional changes and supplements with patients.

James Poepperling, L.Ac.
Certified Acupuncturist
Jim graduated from Wilkes University in 1998 earning a B.S. degree in
Biology. He attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego,
California earning a Masters Degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Upon graduation, Jim moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he worked
for the UPMC Medical System and the Hillman Cancer Center. While in
Pittsburgh, he pursued a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) degree from
Allegheny Community College and eventually moved to Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania to attain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from
Neumann College 2007. Jim's internships include: Hillman Cancer Center
oncology, UCSD Rimac center musculoskeletal conditions, UPMC Shadyside
hospital acute and sub-acute care, Monongahela Valley Hospital
rehabilitation, Allegheny General Hospital outpatient care, McKeesport
Hospital acute care, Geisinger outpatient care, Julia Ribado Nursing
Home, and Highland Manor. The diversity of internships has given him
experiences in treating multiple diagnoses. Jim feels that acupuncture
and herbal medicine in conjunction with physical therapy offers a unique
and effective treatment approach for patients. This treatment approach
encompasses an integration of both Eastern and Western medicine.

Gail Kozlowski, LPN, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Gail is a licensed massage
therapist and a licensed practical nurse. She received her nursing
education from Career Technology Center where she was class president
and awarded the Jane H. Rushmore Award for gerontology. She
received her certification in massage therapy from Allied Medical and
Technical Careers and is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and
bodywork. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy
Association and the National Association of Nurse Massage Therapists.
Gail has additional training in Oncology Massage, Basic Lymph Drainage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular, Pregnancy, Fibromyalgia and Swedish
Massage.

Beth Slater, CMT
Certified Massage Therapist
Beth is a certified massage therapist (PA license is pending approval).
She received her Associates Degree in Professional Massage Therapy from
McCann School of Business and Technology, Dickson City Campus.
Beth also studied sculpture at Marywood University and has a Bachelors
degree in Fine Arts.

Licensed Massage Therapist
Elizabeth is a licensed massage therapist. She
received her certification from the Pennsylvania Learning Institute
located in Moosic, PA. She is currently a member of the Associated
Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She also has completed continuing
education in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

Jillian Sopp, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Jillian is a licensed massage therapist. She received her certification
from Allied Medical/Technical Career School located in Scranton. Jillian
also studied early childhood and elementary education at East
Stroudsburg University. She has been practicing massage therapy for four
years.

Juliann Kaminski, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Juliann is a licensed massage therapist and received
her training from Private instruction at Mercy Center, Misericordia
Campus, Dallas, PA. She has additional training in Deep Tissue,
Soft Tissue Release, Polarity, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Champissage.
She is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy
Association. Jule has a B.S. in Biology with a minor in chemistry
and specialization in Medical Technology from College Misericordia and
Wilkes-Barre Hospital School of Laboratory Medicine. She has been
employed as a full-time massage therapist since 1998 specializing in
therapeutic massage.
Karla Leschinsky, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Karla is a licensed massage therapist. She
received her certification from Allied Medical/Technical
Careers-Scranton Campus. Karla has had additional training in deep
tissue massage, sports massage, sinus drainage, and sub-occipital
release techniques. Karla has also had previous work experience as a
chiropractic assistant in busy chiropractic practices.

Certified Massage Therapist
Nastasha is a certified massage therapist (PA license is pending
approval). She received her Associates Degree in Professional
Massage Therapy from McCann School of Business and Technology, Dickson
City Campus. Nastasha has training in Swedish, Therapeutic, Sports
& Seated, Spa Therapies, Energy Modalities, Hydrotherapy & Aromatherapy,
and Pregnancy & Child/Infant Massage. She is also a certified
Emergency Medical Technician of 6 years and Volunteer Firefighter of 8
years.
